As a kid, I loved portal sites. They weren't fancy, but they were packed with links, news and flashy ads—like digital candy. They got me hooked on the web.

In 2020 I found Neocities, which felt like the old GeoCities all over again. So many folks making real homepages—not just boring résumés. That got me thinking: what if I brought back the old-school portal vibe?

Today's portals are mostly clickbait and ads. I wanted something different: a retro portal with no ads, no fees, and links people actually like. That's how Vegbao.com started.

Then one night in 2024, it hit me: why not a portal just for English sites with that nostalgic feel? And that's how Ytoo! was born.

Ytoo! is more than a link list. We want more people to make their own sites, share what they love, and hang out on the open web—not just chase likes on social apps. Here's to a next Y2K full of human creativity!
